Hello — I'm Denitsa.
Studio Rrrub started the way most real things do: out of curiosity and a little stubbornness.
I began the studio while studying at the art academy in Sofia — a place to experiment without permission. After a few years working in tech, I missed making things with my hands. Not clicking. So I came back.
Today Studio Rrrub is my full-time practice, and it revolves around one question: what happens when you take a material seriously?
I've worked with metal, wood, and rubber. Right now I'm deep in the world of additive manufacturing — specifically a biopolymer made from recycled wood and corn starch. Most people assume it's plastic. It isn't. It's something between a tree and the future.

Every lamp I make is designed, printed, and assembled by hand in my studio at
19 Kalimantsi Street in Sofia. Made to order. Not mass-produced. When you buy from Studio Rrrub, there's one person responsible for what arrives at your door — and that person is me.
I'm also open to collaborations: architectural lighting, interior projects, custom commissions, and experimental work. If you have an idea, I want to hear it.
